Farm Boots
Written by Lisl H. Detlefsen and
Illustrated by Renee Kurilla
Feeding Minds Press, 2023
The theme of “Farm Boots” is the many kinds of boots people wear on
farms. Told
in rhyme, the story goes through the seasons, telling what types of boots are
warn for different jobs, for playtime, and in snow or rain.
It opens with, “Farm life needs boots in every season. Each pair we wear is for a reason.”
The colorful illustrations by Renee Kurilla match the lively tone of the
book.
